Single Digits and a Giveaway

8 days left with the kiddies and 1 extra for the teachers!  Finally, single digits!!!!  Don't get me wrong, I *love* my class, but I am SO.ready. for summer!  {I know you hear me, Hadar!}

As I mentioned before, I started cleaning up this week.  My walls are looking quite bare, and the piles are stacking quite high.  I am switching rooms and getting ready to move everything.  I have to move all this:
And:
This stuff, too:
{Thank goodness it's on wheels.}
Oh, and let's not forget:
{Yea... the closet is a disaster!!}
Having a new and bigger room to design is pretty exciting!!  My mom comes to school with me for two weeks straight at the end of the summer and helps me scrub, organize, and decorate.  She's awesome!  And she's a perfectionist like her daughter, so my room always looks fabulous... if I do say so myself!! :)

Before I head to the dining room to eat some Chinese food with the hubby, I want to let you know about a fun giveaway that I'm taking part in!
My pal Kimberly hit 200 followers {woo!} and asked me if I would donate something.  Of course! :)  So head on over there to enter to win... There are seven goodies, including one item of your choice from my TpT shop!  Good luck and happy weekend!

21 love notes:

I know the feeling of packing up. Everyone in my school had to pack up everything because unfortunately we no longer have a school :( They are closing it down and our jobs are all on the line...especially those of us like me on the low end of the totem pole :(.

It would be awesome to win her giveaway. She has some great things. Thanks for participating in it to make it even better. :)

Oh I feel your pain with packing. I'm moving rooms, but they don't know where! They have some ideas, but that's it. I'm so OCD about my stuff, that I brought it all home. You don't want to know what my living room currently looks like. HaHa. Good luck with the move!

I know what you mean about packing up your classroom. I just finished my 4th year of teaching, and was in my 4th classroom PLUS I am moving again (back to where I was last year). One positive is that it makes me get rid of stuff I really don't use.

Good luck getting everything packed up and moved!

YAY double digits!! I had to pack up my whole room and move too - the whole room is blank now (waiting for it to be cleaned first!) and my closet is DISASTROUS! I'm looking forward to pulling everything out of it and reorganizing!

WAHOO for being in the single digits! I just finished moving and unpacking all of my boxes today so I feel your pain about moving into a new classroom.

How exciting to get to move to a new ane bigger room!! But packing all our stuff up is not so exciting. That is so nice of your mom to come and help you each year. :)

How lucky you are to have your mom come and help clean. I need to deep clean my room.

I love moving rooms because it forces me to really get organized and fresh. I laughed because my Mom is my faithful room helper, too. One of my favorite times of the year.

Oh, I feel your pain of moving rooms. One of the good things is that you typically throw a bunch away, but the downside is that you buy new to "refresh". So glad you hit single digits!!

How exciting!! Very random, but I see lots of storage baskets and containers that I love in all of your pictures. Do you happen to know where you purchased them? I especially love the blue and green ones! Thanks
