I'm sure it will be a mess fun time :) !
While my darlings are elbow deep in green frosting, I need to add the finishing touches to our parent gifts. If you remember from my linky party post, we were making snowman ornaments.
{Didn't they come out cute?}
We made them last week on Thursday and Friday. Today my kiddos made snowman gift bags out of lunch bags, and put the ornament (already wrapped in a clear bag) inside that. I got the idea from this post at Busy Bees {thanks ladies}! Here's how they turned out:
I still need to add a tag to the gift bags. I whipped one up that says 'I Love You "SNOW" Much' (as I promised I would!). I plan on punching a hole at the top of the bag and looping some ribbon through to attach the tags.
I also made a little holiday note from the teacher:

I got my little ones books, pencils, erasers, and candy canes. I found cute snowflake ZipLocs at the Dollar Tree and put the gifts inside. I'll include this little note so they know it's from me! :)
I hope you're all enjoying holiday break! I know I will be, come Thursday at one o'clock!!

Your blog says you were born to be an educator!
Think about adding some new technology to your classroom, Its an opportunity to improve the learning environment within your classroom.
A Multi-touch Interactive Whiteboard can really make the classroom a fun place to be, and there’s a whole lot more benefits where that came from…
I LOVE your stuff. So cute!! Did you have any trouble with the "snow" for your ornaments? Another teacher at my school did something similiar-ish and thought our custodians may hunt her down!

Thanks girls!!
@Stacy: I put a pile of "snow" on a paper plate for each student and told them to stuff it into the ornament over the plate... there was some that made it to the floor, but I swept most of it up, and it wasn't so bad! Next year I might put dollar store tablecloths down for extra protection!
Hey girl~ Thanks for the shout out on the bags. I love your snowman ornaments. I will so have to try this next year!!
